Society of Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors – in Qatar was formed on 19 September 2003 aiming to serve the Quantity Surveying professionals employed in Qatar.The Society functions were took place under the patronage of the Embassy of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, in the State of Qatar.
The major objectives of this Society are as follows:
To support its members, Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyors, on their carrier and professional development through intellectual support and interaction.
To foster social relationship among the members and their families to overcome their professional and social endurance.
To organize academic and social events to support and encourage the ideals of Quantity Surveying, equality, peace, sustainable development in the Society and to apply these ideals in the conduct of the society.
To disseminate information relevant to academic and social interests of members of the Society
To corporate as much as possible with other Sri Lankan organizations in Qatar, with their activities and events within the faculties of the Society.
To maintain good relationship between Qatari and other organizations in the State of Qatar.
What We Offer

Day by day challenges in the construction industry are spiraling up due technological innovation and high demand by the stakeholders in the industry. To overcome these challenges Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is of paramount importance; and it is a mandatory requirement of the members of various professional organizations as well.
